Abstract

Education is a fundamental driver of inclusive economic growth, providing people with the skills and knowledge they need to participate fully in the economy. In Uzbekistan, the government has recognized the importance of education in promoting sustainable development and reducing inequality. This article examines the impact of education on inclusive growth in Uzbekistan, analysing how education reforms and policies promote economic opportunities for different groups, including women, rural populations and youth. The study examines the impact of access to quality education, vocational training and higher education on labour market outcomes, entrepreneurship and social mobility. Despite significant progress, challenges remain, such as regional disparities, gender gaps and mismatches between education outcomes and labour market demands. Recommendations are made to strengthen the role of education in promoting more equitable and inclusive economic growth.
