Abstract

This study explores the structural peculiarities of English proverbs and their implications for teaching in English language classes. Proverbs, as concise and culturally rich expressions, embody unique syntactic and semantic structures that distinguish them from other language forms. Understanding these structures is essential for effective teaching, as it aids students in grasping not only the linguistic nuances but also the cultural contexts in which these proverbs are used.
